Now, I Hate it. :(

I skipped school today. I got sick from my community visit yesterday. My throat was really dry then because my nose was runny. It was also really hot and we had to walk under the scorching heat of the sun. Walking and doing rounds of survey and giving out waste-segregation pamphlets took a lot of time and energy. We only got to rest at mealtimes and post-conferences. Those were held at the tiny, dingy staff house not too far from the community health center where we usually wait for directions on what task to do next. By 4:20, Eli, Foxe, Maye and I were ready to go back to the health center after going around our respective blocks (per pair) to survey. We walked a really long way back to the health center where we waited.. and waited until our professor assigned the four of us plus four more of our groupmates to become "first-aiders" for the team building games of the first 2 groups on immersion. We were asked to fetch the CHN bag and ice and that was about 5:15. We went back to the staff house and were prepared to get those things but we were held up because of the post-con. That really didn't last for the 8 of us because the quarter of the way we were called to assist the team building already. The good side was that we didn't have to pay for any fare to get back to school. The bad side was that we were to go home at nighttime already. We enjoyed watching the funny games. My partner enjoyed watching one level 4 student with us. :) We left Antipolo at 6:20 pm. It was dark, the full moon was out and we were all exhausted. I felt doubly exhausted because I was really getting sick by then. On my cab ride home, my head was spinning and my throat was really dry. I was starving but my throat was too painful to eat anything at all. When I woke up this morning, I felt really bad so I didn't come to any of my classes. To top my bad feeling off, We still have to go back to the community tomorrow morning and do rounds again. :( I feel like I'm going to a lot more sick than I am today. I sure hope not, though.
